Biography
Brad Hawn was elected to the City Council in 2003. He was appointed as Vice Mayor for 2007.
He currently serves as Chair of the Finance Committee and Vice Chair of the Safety and
Communities Committee. He is also serves as a member of LAFCO and StanCOG.
Prior to his election, Brad served as a founding member of the City’s Citizens Redevelopment
Advisory Commission and Board of Zoning Adjustment.
Brad Hawn is a lifelong resident of Modesto. He is a structural engineer and has been in
business in Modesto for 28 years.
Brad and his wife, Nancy, have been married for 30 years. They have 3 children and one
grandchild.
He is President of the Central California Art Association, a member of the Memorial Hospital
Foundation and is an active member of First Baptist Church.
