Construction Set to Resume on Pamela Monterosso Park

Construction is set to resume on the Pamela Monterosso Park and Trailhead next week. Located on the south side of the intersection at Scenic Drive and Coffee Road, initial construction will focus on removing the existing pathway and installing the new pedestrian and bicycle trail.

During the construction period, pedestrians and cyclists will need to use alternate routes to cross from the south side to the north side of Dry Creek. It is anticipated that the new pedestrian and bicycle trail will be completed by mid-August.

The entire park project consists of construction of a turnaround and parking area, a raised planter and installation of irrigation. Site amenities will include picnic tables, park benches, pathway lighting and trees, shrubs and grasses. Park Planning Division staff anticipates the project will be complete in the fall.
