Welcome to the City of Modesto City Manager’s page. As City Manager, I am responsible for the operations of
city government. This involves making recommendations to the City Council on a variety of issues facing Modesto
and then carrying out the decisions of the Council.
Modesto is an amazing community that has something to offer for everyone: a rejuvenated Downtown bursting with
great restaurants, movies, plays and festivals; and unique neighborhoods with beautiful old homes, wonderful
family-friendly parks and a city full of trees.
I am proud to serve the citizens of Modesto with the 1,300 other men and women of the City of Modesto organization
as we provide quality customer service and enhance the quality of life for all Modestans.
